Flourishing – feeling good (hedonics / emotional well-being) and functioning well (eudaimonics / social and psychological well-being) – is the primary focus of the Simply Flourishing offerings. Our work is aimed at promoting and protecting positive mental health and improving overall well-being of individuals, organizations and the world at large.
So, how does this work?
What if you could easily and reliably determine if you’re flourishing (“How am I doing?”)? And, what if you could discern with equal ease the activities (“What should I be doing?”) which would build upon your unique strengths to help you attain and sustain a flourishing life? Yea, we thought it would be pretty special too, so we’ve spent the past two years building just that!
Measured progress

Professor Corey Keyes
Key to the practice is consistent measurement of the three domains (emotional, social and psychological well-being) associated with flourishing.
Originally created by Dr. Corey Keyes, a Winship Distinguished Research Professor at Emory University, the Flourishing assessment is widely used and referenced in research and has been validated literally around the world.
Consisting of only 14 questions, it’s highly efficient and accessible via any internet-ready device (computer, tablet, smart phone). This assessment is used throughout our practice to establish a baseline and measure progress.
Individualized activity recommendations
“Measurement is great, but what can I do to get stronger?”
We’ve answered that question by pairing the assessment results with simple yet powerful evidence-backed activities – a custom fit for every person.
We recognize that no two people will benefit equally from our library of activities or exercises, and make recommendations based on demonstrated strengths for each individual.
The SF practice is especially well suited for those who have read a stack of self-help books, watched all the positive psychology TED talks and still haven’t found just the right activities to help them feel good and function well.
How is change supported?
We know it’s not always easy to create positive change and develop new, good habits. For that reason, we offer gentle reminders to keep our members on task when they first start out, regular online check-ins and 1:1 virtual visits with our flourishing strategists to support and sustain their efforts.
I don’t have a lot of time for this…
Because we know that everyone is already busy, one of our guiding principles was to keep everything we offered easy to use and mindful of required time. Many of the flourishing activities can be performed while enjoying your favorite beverage. Some of them may take up to an hour, yet only a weekly basis.
Is this really a good fit?
Not sure if this is a good fit for you or your organization?
A few minutes spent with this alignment questionnaire will likely shed some good light on that for you. Access a sample exercise and sample results report if you’d like to dig a bit deeper. Learn about our unique team, or how we implement the actual practice by visiting the Simply Flourishing site.
