The Institute of Child Education and Psychology (aka ICEP) is offering 15 positive psychology scholarships to educators, youth workers and people otherwise engaged in the field of education.
In case you are a psychologist, therapist or social care worker who wants to learn more about putting positive psychology into practice, you may be especially interested in this offer.
This offer applies to readers of the ‘Action for Happiness‘ website.
What kind of scholarship is it?
These scholarships apply only to tuition of the following three happiness-related and tutor-led online courses offered by the ICEP. There are 5 scholarships available per course.
- Teaching Happiness: Positive Psychology for Behaviour and Learning (More info)
- Teaching Hope & Optimism: Positive Psychology in Action (More info)
- Building Strenghs and Creativity (More info)
These three courses can be completed online and will run from February to April this year.
How to apply for this positive psychology scholarship?
Write a credible application and send it to icepe@actionforhappiness.org
Provide the following information:
- your name
- your e-mail address
- where you live
- which of the 3 abovementioned courses you’re interested in
- a paragraph explaining your motivation for this particular course and how you’re planning to put the newly acquired knowledge into practice
What to expect?
Unfortunately, there will be far more people applying then there will be places available. Don’t be discouraged just yet! Perform the steps mentioned above well and you just might obtain one of these positive psychology internships.
In case you do not but still want to enrol for one of the courses via the ICEP enrolment form and pay the normal fees for the course (£89).
