Finding a certified course

Positive Psychology is a growing field of study and research worldwide. In Europe there are many opportunities to extend your knowledge into the field. Germany specifically has an association which supports the training of positive psychology.

The DACH PP  or German-Speaking Association of Positive Psychology is an umbrella organisation, founded in 2013 and aimed at distributing information and education for Positive Psychology in German-speaking countries such as Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The association has developed a curriculum for trainings in applied positive psychology and four levels of certified PP trainings.

The certifications range from Professional of Positive Psychology (Level 1) to Consultant of Positive Psychology (Level 2) and the highest level Trainer andMaster Trainer (Level 3 and 4). The DACH PP aims to provide extensive distribution of information, research and education to the German-speaking area. The general goal is to help positive psychology flourish in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

The DACH PP supports the research, application and training of positive psychology through two organisations in Germany. The Inntal Institute, based in Rosenhein, offering courses in different regions of Germany and the Positive Psychology Centre in Berlin (PPC).

he next Level 1 courses will start in Rosenheim in April 2016, in Berlin in September 2016 and both in Frankfurt and Rheinfelden (near the Swiss border) in September 2016. 

Introducing Daniela Blickhan

Daniela Blickhan, is a prominent positive psychologist in the field, she has played a key role player in the development of the DACH PP, she is also the founder of the Inntal Institute. She is author of “Positive Psychology – A Handbook for Practitioners” which is the first comprehensive overview of the science of PP published in German.

After studying psychology in Germany and positive psychology in London she is now finishing her PhD in Positive Psychology. Daniela has many years of experience in training and coaching. At her company, the Inntal Institute, she offers a wide range of trainings on positive psychology, positive leadership, systemic coaching and NLP. She works also in companies to support positive organisations.

The DACH PP aims to provide extensive distribution of information, research and education to the German speaking population. With your help, you can make positive psychology in Germany a reality.
